Open positions at Tumbleweed
We're building space missions in record time. If our mission excites you and you want to take ownership of hard problems alongside ambitious people, we'd love to hear from you.
A small reminder: job descriptions describe an ideal candidate, not a checklist you need to complete perfectly. If this opportunity sparks your interest and you can see yourself succeeding in the role, we'd love to hear from you, even if you don't meet every single requirement on the list.
Recovery Systems Intern
As a Recovery Systems Intern, your primary focus will be iterating on the parachute deployment system for the Oasis Beta spacecraft.
Mechanical Engineer
Take total ownership of the mechanical and structural design for Tumbleweed's Oasis spacecraft, taking components from CAD assemblies and FEM simulations all the way to flight in 2028.
AOCS Engineer
As Attitude and Orbit Control System Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the control system that enables our Oasis spacecraft to orient itself and perform a precisely targeted reentry.
