The cost of healthcare in the U.S is rising. Estimates suggest that health plan rates increased 11 percent from 2000 to 2001 as compared to 9.8 percent from 1999 to 2000 and 7.5 percent from 1998 to 1999 (Source: Watson Wyatt, a Maryland-based benefits consulting company and the Henry J.
