Tumbleweed Joins Technology Council for Trusted Healthcare Information Solutions Alliance (THISA) at 2006 HIMSS Conference

San Diego, CA – February 13, 2006 – Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:TMWD), a leading provider of email security, managed file transfer, and identity validation appliance and software products, today announced the it has joined the Trusted Healthcare Information Solutions Alliance (THISA) Technology Council.  Tumbleweed will work in collaboration with current members to extend and share insight into the technology requirements, regulatory issues and strategic challenges facing today’s healthcare organizations.
