Tumbleweed Announces South African Distributor

i-Security to deliver Tumbleweed's Secure Communication Solutions to governments and enterprises in southern Africa

Redwood City, CA — September 05, 2005 — Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:TMWD), a leading provider of email security, file transfer security, and identity validation software and appliances, has announced that it has appointed i-Security as its exclusive distributor in southern Africa.  Under terms of the agreement, i-Security will offer Tumbleweed’s full line of secure Internet communications applications to governments and enterprises in southern Africa and will also provide technical support to its customers.
