Tumbleweed Licenses Two Patents to NetIQ
Redwood City, CA – September 20, 2004 –
Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:TMWD), a global
leader in email security and secure data technologies, today
announced that NetIQ has licensed Tumbleweed U.S. Patent No.
6,609,196 titled "Email Firewall with Stored Key Encryption/Decryption."
and U.S. Patent No. 6,393,568 titled “Encryption and
Decryption System and Method with Content Analysis Provision”,
both for NetIQ’s MailMarshal Secure module. Terms of
the agreement were not disclosed.
