NEC Fielding joins with Tumbleweed for Secure Content Management
NEC Fielding selects to sell and market Tumbleweed Secure Mail as an Internet and Email management tool for Internet Security
REDWOOD CITY, CA - November 5, 2001 - NEC Fielding, Ltd., a leading IT solutions company providing network design, operations, support, management and security consulting and services announced today that it has entered into a channel alliance program with TumbleweedŽ Communications KK, a leading provider of secure content management solutions for enabling the business Internet. NEC Fielding will begin offering to its customers Tumbleweed Secure Mail as part of the secure content management solution offerings to enable protection of the network and secure their business communications over the Internet, starting from November 2, 2001.
Tumbleweed Secure Mail, a content security and policy management solution for Internet email, is part of Tumbleweed's Secure Guardian framework that offers a wide range of security solutions that protect and extend enterprise networks, and enable secure communications with customers, partners and suppliers over the Internet. Enterprises can use Secure Mail to set and implement policies for communicating with their partners, suppliers and customers over the Internet, including email and browser-based communications. With Secure Mail, the following functions can be administered and applied centrally and universally across an enterprise: content filtering, encryption, access control, attachment management, virus scanning and digital signature policies.
