Java Software Engineer (JSE10)

The Role:

The Java Software Engineer will play an important role in the development of our next version of one of our products. This is a hands-on position that requires good problem solving skills and ability to work in a team.

This person will be responsible for the design and implementation of back-end features and business logic as well as customizations to the management UI.

You should meet the following requirements:

• 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Deep knowledge in J2EE (JSP, EJB, Servlets, JDBC)
• Programming experience with SQL
• Strong analytical skills and incisive thinking ability
• Very good command of English language - both written and spoken
• Self-motivated, independent worker

The following additional skills will be an advantage:

• Experience with applications and frameworks such as JBoss, Struts, Apache Jakarta, Tomcat, Resin, Hibernate
• Understanding of basic cryptography principles
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
