Our Sofia operation center has more than 150 professionals and we offer multiple opportunities. As our company is expanding in different areas we are currently looking for:

Director of Finance, Bulgaria Operations (DFB03)

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of financial statements for the Bulgarian entity in accordance with both US GAAP and local Bulgarian accounting standards
• Manage financial operations of the Bulgarian entity including payroll and cash disbursements
• Maintain a system of strong internal controls for the Bulgarian entity including adherence with local regulations and the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements of Tumbleweed Communications
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Bulgarian statutory, tax, and VAT filings
• Manage Bulgarian banking and third party accounting relationships
• Work closely with outside advisers regarding all legal and tax issues and changes
• Manage the process and creation of documents and agreements for all intercompany activity with other Tumbleweed Communications entities including the US parent company
• Work with local and US auditors for audits of the Bulgarian entity
• Assist with Tumbleweed Communications’ budgeting process
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required
• Manage and mentor the Finance team in Bulgaria

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax principles
• Good knowledge of US GAAP
• Bachelors degree or above in Accounting
• Five or more years of accounting experience including at least 2 years as a manager
• High integrity
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel as well as third parties
• Excellent command of English language - both written and spoken
• Strong process orientation, including the ability to create new processes
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop strong finance personnel
